Claude Monet - Kante der Steilküste bei Pourville (1882)
In Normandy, Claude Monet painted not only tourist attractions like the famous rock formations of Porte d’Aval and Aiguille. Here, he chose a marginal motif. However, the perspective is spectacular. Much like a photograph, the grass-covered cliff edge is in focus, while the expanse of sea, sky, and the rocky strip of the bay blur in the distance.
