Meno Mühlig was a German genre and landscape painter, born on April 8, 1823, in Eibenstock, Saxony. He initially trained as a porcelain painter in Meißen before studying at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. 

Mühlig specialized in depictions of rural life and landscapes, which he painted with great attention to detail and a sense of realism
